Grand Cru in Burgundy

in the cellars at Beuchard Aine & Fils in Beaune. We tasted 6 incredible pinot noirs, culminating in a 1998 Grand Cru. So good we left with 2 bottles. These bottles never made it back over the Atlantic Ocean. We drank them on two seperate nights with the group while at the end of incredible touring days. Vintage Grand cru from plastic cups may seem wrong to some, but let me tell you it could not have tasted better and it was very very right. Lounging and laughing with new friends on a hotel piazza, with cheese, bread and genoa salami. Now that's wine appreciation.
